login restriction for user in mikrotik | IP based restriction on users

Asalam o alikum Brothers and sisters. Today we will learn how we can restrict access of users in mikrotik router . You can specify IP Addresses (single or multiple) for any number of users, so that they will only be able to access Mikrotik router when they are on specified IP Network.

In my scenario , i have 2 users on my Mikrotik Router (admin &abc). i can access mikrotik using 2 subnets (192.168.10.0/24 and 192.168.20.0/24).

At first if I configure my pc to IP from 192.168.10.0/24 or 192.168.20.0/24 , I would be able to login the Mikrotik Router. later i will allow only 192.168.20.0/24 subnet for user “abc”. you will notice that after this configuration, user “abc” would only connect if i give my PC an IP from 192.168.20.0/24subnet. Similarly, you can specify any IP you want .
