Configuring CPE210 in Bridge mode

Asalam o alikum brothers/sisters today we will learn how to configure TP-LINK CPE210 wireless unit in bridge mode.

let’s first talk about bridge mode. So in a scenario when you have a wireless Router or AP providing Internet connectivity within certain area example a single room and you want Internet access beyond that limit (another room) , also your requirement is that users connect to a new SSID (name of AP with which you connect wirelessly),This is exactly what Bridge mode in CPE210 is used for.

This application can create two individual networks for two groups of users sharing one Internet.For small restaurant, bar, home, office and others where Internet service needs to be provided for guests without revealing the password of the existing network for hosts, Bridge Mode is the best choice.

So by configuring bridge mode , your CPE210 will first connect to another Router/AP wirelessly and then broadcast it’s own SSID. You users first connect to CPE210 and then CPE210 send them to root AP which Routes their traffic.
