How to access TP-LINK CPE210

Asalam o alikum brothers/sisters. In this tutorial i will show you how we can access the TP-LINK CPE 210.

INTRO TO CPE 210

TP-LINK CPE210 is a unit that provides outdoor wireless connectivity, it is ideal for point-to-point, point-to-multipoint and outdoor Wi-Fi coverage applications.

How to access?

you can power up your device with POE adapter. simply plug one cable into “POE Port” of adapter, and 2nd cable in “LAN Port” to your PC/Laptop’s Ethernet Port.

Default IP of device is 192.168.0.254. You need to set IP of your PC from the 192.168.0.0/24 subnet in order to access the device.

So when you are finished with IP settings, open you web browser and type 192.168.0.254. A login page will be displayed , you have to enter Username, password , Region & language . Default username and password is “admin”. click on the “Login” buton to proceed further.

once you click Login button, you will be redirected to another page and you will be asked to change your set New username and password. Enter your desired username /password and click “Finish” to finally etner into configuration page of CPE 210.

That’s all guyz. You can see a lot of tabs as shown in above picture. you can check configuration/status of your device in “STATUS” tab.

To change network setting (ip address, subnet , gateway etc) go to “NETWORK” TAB.

Similarly navigate to “WIRELESS” tab to play with wireless settings of your device such as setting operation mode (client/AP) of device, enabling Wireless radio, setting SSID with password and much more.

To change current username/password, upgrade firmware, change time settings . enter the “SYSTEM” TAB.

please note CPE Device has a number of operational mode such as “Access point”, “Client”, “AP Router” etc. These will be covered in separate tutorials . so please stay tuned.
